Releases Surrey - May 18th, 2010 British Columbia BC Communities in Bloom is pleased to announce the involvement of 25 communities in this year's evaluation program. Read the entire release ... Awards The BC Communities in Bloom (BC CiB) was pleased to recognize 30 participants at our 6th Annual Awards Ceremony on September 19th, as part of a weekend conference “Living with our Land” that was hosted by the Village of Harrison Hot Springs and their CiB Committee. Communities in Bloom is a development program for municipalities of all sizes to participate in. Local CiB committees are a collaboration of private citizens, businesses, service groups and local government to improve their parks, neighbourhoods and other heritage assets by following a set criterion. With the importance of good environmental stewardship so important these days, this year’s participants in the BC Communities in Bloom program are leading the way in this province.
