Celebrating CommUNITY Success across B.C.

Surrey, British Columbia - September 15th, 2014

Trail - On Saturday September 13th, representatives from around the province celebrated their hometown’s achievements at this year’s British Columbia Communities in Bloom Awards Ceremony. The awards were presented to community representatives in the Evaluated and Non-evaluated categories.

The City of Trail was this year’s host community for the 11th annual BC CiB Awards and Conference. Trail’s CiB committee were terrific hosts who did a top notch job of educating and sharing the pride in their success of overcoming industrial challenges to become one of Canada’s top CiB communities.

What makes ‘in Bloom’ Communities so special?


Surrey, British Columbia - May 6th, 2013


From remote wilderness areas to bustling tourist havens, Communities in Bloom participants will celebrate their unique geography, history and horticultural assets by participating in this year’s evaluation program. In mid-July six pairs of BC Communities in Bloom (BC CiB) judges will travel far & wide to meet with citizens who are eager to present their hometown’s best qualities.
